X-ray diagnostics

Through a panorama X ray examination a dentist can screen caries and can examine tooth roots the old fillings and the sate of previous teeth prosthesis. X ray examination has an important part not only in diagnostics but also in the checking of certain working processes.

A dentist can use so-called small X ray or panorama X ray examinations. X ray examination can check certain teeth only, while on a panorama X ray examination both jaw bone and teeth, their structure and changes can be seen.

A lot of people are afraid of X ray examination because of radioactive radiation. There is not any reasons to be concerned about it as there is slight radiation amount only and it is not harmful to patients’ health and modern X ray equipment represent top technology and the radiation amount released by it is almost immeasurable.
